These insects require a high amount of moisture to survive. They will often invade wall voids, especially in basement areas, or near moisture leaks found in the home. The first step to controlling them, is to eliminate the moisture source. This could be anything from fixing a leaky pipe or drain, to using a dehumidifier in moist rooms.
An exterior application is required to reduce the population outside, while a spot treatment may be necessary on the interior of the home. Each structure is looked at individually and a course of action is determined at that time.
